Goalkeeper coaching
Own your box
A way of understanding the position that has been developing elite goalkeepers for decades. Now explained by the people who apply it every day.
A goalkeeping tradition
At Athletic Club, goalkeeping has always held a special place. It is a position nurtured from the earliest stages, with patience and a shared idea of what it means to be a goalkeeper.
That idea takes shape at Lezama. Goalkeepers such as Unai Simón have come through here, and behind each of them there is a method, a department and a way of looking at the position.
This programme shares that way of working with coaches who train goalkeepers at other clubs.
